That last race at Addington reminded me why I went off harness racing, standing starts should be banned, bloody useless.

I think you know Rambo that wouldn't work. With the acute shortage of cup and intermediate class horses, especially in the north these days, they have a big problem. But, hey, don't worry Winston the Saviour will give us all the answers on Thursday :horse: :cheerl:

Then you get this sort of unfair scenario Rambo.
Race 8 MCGREGOR BAILEY CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS MOBILE PACE, $15,980, R57 TO R63, R72 WITH COND., 2200m
For R57 to R63 pacers. Also R72 if driven by a concession junior driver. Preferential Barrier Draw Based on: Rating using the track grid.
Mach Shard at rating R72 was the only horse above R63. We know the results despite being driven by a concession junior. An easy win for the R73 thrown into the race by handicapper. This sort of thing is going to kill harness racing I believe.

Eljay I know so well it wont work.

Paulus there is a real lack of opportunities for Rating 71 + horses.. it is a major headache.. and because of this lots get sold reducing the pool of horses in this grade … you are spot on with this point
