Former Messenger and dual Jewels winner, Tintin in America, who was exported recently to Australia, looks to have sired a colt with all the speed and talent of his dad when reviewing his two wins from two starts to date.

Debuting at Menangle on 31 January he led throughout in 1m52.8, then followed it up on Miracle Mile night with an even quicker 1m51.6 mile in a Group Two event, which was quoted as having broken the Australasian record by half a second, and in the process distanced the opposition on each occasion.

After having sired another good youngster in Australia in Zee Dana, who was tragically lost to a snake bite, it looks like the move over the ditch is a good one as his progeny in New Zealand have not reached those levels to date.

Punters should follow this one with excitement but the odds will be small no doubt.

Best of luck to the connections of the colt. Well regarded by his trainer and they hope to win at Bathurst with him. Once again a colonial bred stallion has slipped through our fingers. May Tin Tin in America enjoy much success in Australia

Are you referring to the Tritton's trained Colt Divine State Kobe?

Yes, sorry Paulus, Forgot to Remember, to quote from a current pacer/trotter racing in the South Island. :HAHA:

Short odds they certainly were in the Bathurst Crown heat on Saturday night. $1 and $1 as Divine State won by 37.5 metres, walking down the straight! Will need to anchor him in a first four in future based on the $348 dividend, say 4 others boxed (hoping for one roughie).

Forgot to say Kobe. Adrienne Matthews is training a full brother to Tintin In America. Named Zenner has the family ability but keeps going sore.

Shame, Paulus. Geoff Small was forever working on Tintin who did miss a number of important races through injury and eventually was retired for that reason.
