Great news to hear this brilliant pacer has been back in work for a few weeks.

The recent NZ Herald clip suggests a kidney problem has been bothering the superstar.

I imagine this diagnosis followed a process of investigation and elimination and brings some relief to all connections?

As a layman punter, I have observed Have Faith In Me's pacing action many times both live and on video - straight front legs, almost stilted ( humans, think of dog paddling without bending your elbows ) and more unbending than any other pacer on the circuit. There is nothing actually wrong with this traction, back legs being normal.

The straight front leg action gives Have Faith In Me top reach, lift, momentum and a freaky ability to make up quick ground in a short space as sighted in his massive Miracle Mile finish.

However, I suggest Have Faith In Me is pacing with tremendous pressure squarely on his shoulders in all races - gym bunnies come to know shoulder pain when they overdo weights.

I hope the professional vets have scoped all possibilities - what do you guys think??
