I'm going for a look eljay but not buying. If I want a share in a horse Adrienne has plenty of young one's in the stable I can take a share in.

I haven't bought (registered) for some time now and they have removed me from their data base. Fair enough. I can usually pick up a catalogue at one of the race meetings. The comment was made to me just yesterday Paulus, that the day of the "small" breeder had all but gone. Over 75% of the offerings are by the big breeders. And the stallions covered are mainly the "tried and true" plus a couple of "newies" that the big studs are promoting to eventually replace the older ones. Even with established stallions off spring it is becoming harder for the small guy to recoup his stud fee and costs from service to sale ring plus of course paying into the big breeders stakes races which 99 pct will never win a return from.

Very interesting to see Not one Sir Lincoln in the sale at Auckland.
