We were hoping to get him qualified before sending him for a decent spell. He is a big lump of a horse and needs to grow into his sizeable frame so was never going to make a natural 2 year old. In his second workout he kept detaching from the bunch and then catching up again so he has some ability but isn't quite there mentally when it comes to a racetrack and what to do. It has been decided to pull the plug and to spell him now and then qualify him next prep when hopefully he has strengthened up a bit and with luck developed a bit more grey-matter between the ears. A lovely big horse to work with and shows ability but just needs a bit more time before racing.
